Shannon has lived in NW Indiana for most of her life and began her involvement with Girl Scouts as a young child. Shannon currently works as a Business Development Associate for Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital.
She holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University. Shannon is married with two daughters, Layna and Maya.
