Carl Sagan once said "We are made of star stuff." What did he mean by that? The oxygen we breathe, the calcium in our bones and the iron in our blood were all once made in stars! Learn how studying nuclear science and radiation gives us insight into these processes. This workshop includes interactive lectures about nuclear astrophysics and related careers, a tour of the Nuclear Science Laboratory, hands-on activities, and discussions with graduate students during the provided lunch.
