Are your girls looking to take the next step on their leadership journey? There are three positions girls can take on as they get older, and this is the training required to hold those positions.
Program Aide (PA)—for girls in grades 6-8 who would like to work with younger girls in a troop, event, or camp setting. Girls must earn a LIA (Leader in Action) award before taking this training.
Counselor in Training (CIT)—for girls in grades 9-12. Take this course before you mentor girls in a camp setting.
Volunteer in Training (VIT)—for girls in grades 10-12. This award is for girls who would like to mentor a Daisy, Brownie, Junior or Cadette group outside of a camp setting. Girls must find a mentor leader who is already working with a group of girls at the grade level the VIT would like to work with.
