Embassy Theatre Film Series - Selma
The Embassy Theatre, in downtown Fort Wayne, invites older girls, their leaders, and parents to view the film Selma on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The movie chronicles Dr. King’s campaign to secure equal voting rights through an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, in 1965. The film is part of a series highlighting equality and voting rights. The series is free, and while not all the offerings are appropriate for all ages (Selma is rated PG-13), there is something for everyone—Mary Poppins will be shown on May 10. Doors open at 4 pm and the movie starts at 5 pm.
