17 years old
High School Senior
7 years in GS

Adjective:  Role Modal

The three things I accomplished:

  1. I learned to explore different areas of artistic styles
  2. I’ve learned to appreciate and have confidence in my artwork
  3. I’ve learned to recognize that I grew as a young lady. I have confidence in my ability to learn new things. I’ve developed the ability to have a social life in High school and maintain a high GPA.  I have a good balance between friends and my academic studies.

My favorite color: Pink

My Favorite food: Macaroni and Cheese

Favorite Musicians: Kanye West and Alicia Keys

Reason I joined GS: I joined GS to gain leadership qualities and to be part of a girl empowerment group.

My favorite GS memory: I volunteered with a Girl Scout Urban Day Camp, that week the focus was becoming a princess.  The girls learned proper etiquette and social skills.  The final day the girls were given an opportunity to have lunch at the Summit Club, one of South Bends exclusive private clubs.  They were so proud of themselves, and I was proud to be part of an organization that encouraged girls to grow.

Why should other girls join GS? Girl Scouts open your mind to thinking about others.  You have an opportunity to give back to your community and bond with other girls.

If you could change anything in the world what would it be? I would change the notion that not everyone is college material.  I would guide children towards furthering their education at a young age.

What do you want to be when you grow up? I will be a Graphic Designer with the focus on Visual Communications
