Teen Mentoring Program Aide and CIT

Teens who earn mentoring awards are given a special opportunity to serve as champions for the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. As they serve in their roles, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors can help grow awareness of Girl Scouting’s aim to deliver fun with purpose: enjoyable and challenging activities that grow girls’ leadership in their daily lives and in the world.

Teen Mentoring  (Program Aide and CIT) Opportunities at Summer Camp:
Girls will have the opportunity to work on their Program Aid and CIT awards at every session of camp.  There are many opportunities to help you along your path whether you are just getting started as a PA or have been mentoring younger girls for many years.  These opportunities will keep you challenged and growing until you are 18 and out of High School and are ready to work at camp and/or volunteer as a group leader. There are no Fee B options available prior to May 15, but there will be a lower early registration fee.  May 16 or after Fee B will be available if spaces and funds are still available.

Please read below for detailed information and available sessions.  Please notice the pre-requisites for each session.  If you register for a session that you don’t meet the requirements, we reserve the right to remove you from that session.  You may register for the session if you are also registered for the pre-requisite class.  For more information on how to sign up for the pre-requisite trainings click here….(link to list of classes or something… not set yet…Volunteers are working on setting them.) Training you have taken for PA or CIT previous years does still count and you do not need to re-take it for that level.

These sessions fill fast – so register now! Please only register for 1 session prior to May 15  to allow more girls the opportunity to participate.  If spaces are still available on May 16 or later, you are welcome to sign up for additional sessions.
