Did you know there are awards and recognitions for Girl Scout volunteers? You may have earned one already! If you completed the required learning for your volunteer position you may have already earned the Trained Leader ID Pin!  Have you been a volunteer for 5 or more years?  What if you added in your girl member years?
Do you know of a volunteer that has gone above and beyond the duties of their position? Consider nominating them for the Volunteer of Excellence Award, Appreciation Pin, Honor Pin, or Thanks Badge national Girl Scout awards. How about recognizing people, businesses, schools or organizations outside of GSNI-M that have provided support to your troop with a community award plaque? Most of these awards require endorsement letters so don’t wait until the last minute to submit a nomination!
New this year is the GSNI-M Heart of Gold Award which honors long-time volunteers who have given exceptional service over the years.
For more information on additional awards attend Adult Awards Info Webinar.  Community Volunteer Support Teams are encouraged to attend.
