The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation welcome Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts for their free program, Girls Rock IT- Coding for Good!
Junior Girl Scouts and 4th & 5th grade girls will use MIT Scratch programming language to learn coding basics, create a game and learn about app development. Cadette Girl Scouts and 6th—8th grade girls will use MIT App Inventor to learn coding basics, learn about game design and create an app.
All girls will earn their 3 Coding for Good Badges: Coding Basics, Digital Game Design, and App Development at this event!
Program is free of charge!
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to join the free parent session on Internet Safety and Technology Careers all while your child is enjoying their sessions!
