Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to experience some of the
classic activities such as hiking, low ropes adventure courses,
bouldering and rock-climbing walls, zipline, and archery. In addition
to these, we offer a range of skill-building workshops and
lessons:
Explore our Universe: Youll learn about
constellations, planets, and the wonders of the night sky through
hands-on experiments and crafts.
Rocket Building and Launching:
Budding engineers will design and launch their very own rockets,
discovering the science behind propulsion and flight.
Astronaut
Training Simulations: Participants will experience life as an
astronaut through exciting simulations, including an astronaut food
taste test, and experiencing what itd be like to live on a space
station!
Badges Earned: Campers can earn Daisy Space Science
Explorer, Brownie Space Science Adventurer, and Junior Space Science
Investigator badges.
Additional Camp Details:
Lunches: Campers will need to pack nut-free lunches
Monday-Thursday. Well have an all-camp cookout for lunch on
Friday.
Family Program & Open House: Well have a family
program on Friday at 4 PM outside of the Gathering Center and then a
camp open house. Families can join their camper to explore camp, meet
the staff, and enjoy a camp snack!
Before & After Care:
Before & after care is available from 8 9 AM and 4 5 PM daily
for an additional add-on fee of $50 for the week.
