Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to experience some of the
classic activities such as hiking, low ropes adventure courses,
bouldering and rock climbing walls, zipline, and archery. In addition
to these, we offer a range of skill-building workshops and
lessons:
Bug Arts & Crafts: Campers will have the
opportunity to get creative with bug-themed arts and crafts projects,
from making 3D bugs to designing bug dioramas.
Interactive
Learning: Our enthusiastic and knowledgeable counselors will engage
campers with interactive lessons about the anatomy and life cycles of
various insects.
Bug Safaris: Through bug safaris, campers will
develop their observation skills and become amateur entomologists as
they identify and document the bugs they discover.
Badges
Earned: Campers can earn Daisy Eco Learner, Brownie Bugs and Junior
Animal Habitat badges.
Additional Camp Details:
Lunches: Campers will need to pack nut-free lunches
Monday-Thursday. Well have an all-camp cookout for lunch on
Friday.
Family Program & Open House: Well have a family
program on Friday at 4 PM outside of the Gathering Center and then a
camp open house. Families can join their camper to explore camp, meet
the staff, and enjoy a camp snack!
Before & After Care:
Before & after care is available from 8 9 AM and 4 5 PM daily
for an additional add-on fee of $50 for the week.
