We're proud to host our Annual Meeting and Adult Recognition together in one event. Help us celebrate our communities as we highlight projects and events that showcase how our members work together to make our communities better!

Members will vote on issues of importance to the council, elect Board Members, receive an update about the 2026 National Council Session and discover what is happening across the council. We will recognize Girl Scout adults and celebrate community partners who have helped our Girl Scouts throughout the year.

Who is invited to attend the Annual Celebration? toggle arrow

All registered members of the Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana are invited to attend. However, this is not a girl-focused program. The proceedings may not hold the attention of young Girl Scouts.

What is the criteria for the Adult Awards? toggle arrow

There are two types of awards & recognitions for volunteers: those earned for years of service and those for which a volunteer must be nominated. All nominations are due annually on March 5 to acknowledge contributions from the previous Girl Scout year (October 1 - September 30). View complete criteria and past winners here.

Will lunch be provided? toggle arrow

Lunch is provided for all Girl Scout members. You must pre-register by Friday, April 17, to be included in the lunch count. Please indicate your dietary needs during registration, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Walk-ins and late registrants, members or non-members, will be charged a $10 fee for attendance.

Who is eligible to vote during the meeting? toggle arrow

Girl Scouts ages 14 and older are eligible to vote. You must pre-register by Friday, April 17 to vote. Registrations received after April 17 or walk-ins the day of the event will not receive a voting paddle.

What is the dress code for the Annual Celebration? toggle arrow

The wearing of uniforms unites girls as Girl Scouts. We ask that you respect our formal dress code during the Annual Celebration.

Girl Scouts at each level have one required element (tunic, sash, or vest), for the display of official pins and awards, that will be required when girls participate in ceremonies or officially represent Girl Scouting.

For girls ages 5 to 14, the unifying look includes wearing a choice of a tunic, vest, or sash for displaying official pins and awards, combined with solid white shirts and khaki pants or skirts. Girl Scouts in high school can also wear a scarf that ties their look to the sisterhood of Girl Scouts around the world.

For adult members, the unifying look of the uniform is a Girl Scout official scarf, or tie for men, worn with official membership pins, combined with their own navy blue business attire.
