All registered members of the Girl Scouts of Northern
Indiana-Michiana are invited to attend. However, this is not a
girl-focused program. The proceedings may not hold the attention of
young Girl Scouts.
Girl Scouts ages 14 and older are
eligible to vote. You must pre-register by Friday, April 17 to vote.
Registrations received after April 17 or walk-ins the day of the event
will not receive a voting paddle.
Lunch is provided for
all Girl Scout members. You must pre-register by Friday, April 17, to
be included in the lunch count. Please indicate your dietary needs
during registration, and we will do our best to accommodate. There is
no fee for non-members this year.
In order to participate
fully, we encourage you to review our Annual Celebration Attendee
Packet on our website in advance of the Annual Celebration. If you
would like to have a packet mailed to you prior to the meeting, please
contact GSNI-M at 800.283.4812 or email frontdesk@gsnim.org before April 17.
Walk-ins and late registrants, members or non-members, will be charged
a $10 fee for attendance.
Girl Scout uniforms encouraged!
We ask that you respect our formal dress code during the Annual
Celebration. Girl Scouts at each level have one required element
(tunic, sash, or vest), for the display of official pins and awards,
that will be required when girls participate in ceremonies or
officially represent Girl Scouting. For girls ages 5 to 14, the
unifying look includes wearing a choice of a tunic, vest, or sash for
displaying official pins and awards, combined with solid white shirts
and khaki pants or skirts. Girl Scouts in high school can also wear a
scarf that ties their look to the sisterhood of Girl Scouts around the
world.
For adult members, the unifying look of the
uniform is a Girl Scout official scarf, or tie for men, worn with
official membership pins, combined with their own navy blue business attire.
