Girl Scouts are now able to build a furry friend as unique as they are in our Retail Shop!

Select a furry friend, bring it to life with the help of our staff, and experience the iconic Build-A-Bear Heart Ceremony, customized just for Girl Scouts! Afterward, have fun dressing your new friend in vests with matching troop numbers, outfits, cookie-themed merchandise, accessories, sounds, and more!

Enjoy this activity with your troop, your family, or even have it be part of a special celebration, like a birthday party or bridging ceremony!

Come visit us during our regular store hours and purchase a pre-stuffed furry friend. Groups of 5 or more should call ahead for the best experience or book us for a Build-A-Bear Party!

All bear varieties are available pre-stuffed: Adventurefuls, Caramel Coconut, Thin Mints, Trefoils
A la carte accessories, including uniform vests, outfits, shoes and more!

*We recommend calling ahead as resources may be limited due to a high volume of in-store customers during peak seasons like Back to Troop, cookie time, and award season.

Who can build a bear? toggle arrow

Anyone! You don’t have to be a Girl Scout to make a new friend. Bring a friend or a sibling to join in the fun!

How much are your party packages, and what is included? toggle arrow

We have two fun party packages available to groups with a minimum of 5 (five) participants and minimum of 2 (two) chaperones.

Can I reserve a time for my troop, group or my Girl Scout and her friends? toggle arrow

Yes! A reservation form must be completed, and a $100 deposit must be made. Once received, GSNI-M shop staff will send confirmation within 2 (two) business days.

How do I pay for the GSNI-M Build-A-Bear Workshop for my troop or group? toggle arrow

Your $100 deposit is required to reserve your date and party. Final payment is due no later than 48 hours in advance of your scheduled event. A link will be sent with details to pay your deposit and final payment online. Any additions made to your workshop or for additional purchases will be charged at the end of your event. If payment is not received prior to your event, you may have to forfeit your timeslot. We can reschedule your event. No-shows will lose their deposit.

Can I use my GSNI-M Council Cash that I earned from the Product Program Sales towards Build-A-Bear products? toggle arrow

Yes! Girl Scouts may use their Council Cash towards any purchase of Build-A-Bear items! This includes payment towards a Build-A-Bear party. The normal GSNI-M Council Cash expiration date still applies.

Can I build a bear/furry friend without an appointment? toggle arrow

Outside of parties, customers can purchase pre-stuffed bears during our regular store hours.

Can I use a Build-a-Bear Gift Card at a GSNI-M Build-A-Bear location? toggle arrow

Unfortunately, GSNI-M is not authorized to accept Build-A-Bear Gift Cards. However, we sell council-issued gift cards, which are available at our council store locations. These make great gifts, too!

Do you match or honor discounts or promotions that may be found on the official Build-a-Bear website or at a store location? toggle arrow

The GSNI-M Build-A-Bear locations are not able to honor any promotions or coupons on the official Build-a-Bear website or in a Build-A-Bear retail store.

Can GSNI-M accept returns from other Build-A-Bear locations? toggle arrow

We cannot accept returns from other Build-a-Bear locations.

Build-A-Bear Workshop Return Policy

We want to make sure each of our guests is “beary” happy with their purchases. If for some reason you would like to return an item, we will be happy to assist you according to the terms of our Satisfaction Bearantee.*

Build-A-Bear merchandise is available to return for exchange or council store credit only. An exchange or store credit will be issued at our discretion and for the purchase price, current list price, or prorated price, depending on the item(s) returned and original proof of purchase from GSNI-M.

*We are unable to match or offer discounts that you may find on the official Build-A-Bear website or in a full Build-A-Bear Workshop. Our merchandise selection is subject to change based on availability or season.
