How to Register

New to Camp?

Create Your Account

Welcome to our camp registration platform!

Click here to create an account. Click “Sign Up”. NEED HELP? Check out this video tutorial for creating a new user account.
Once your account is created and verified (check your email!), you will be prompted to create a participant. Your participant is who will be joining us for camp this summer. More than one Girl Scout going to camp? You can create additional participants in your account by clicking “New Participant” on the left side of your screen.
After you have created your participant, you will click “Register for a new session” on the right side of your screen and you will select your participant’s grade level. This will display all the camps available for that grade level. Select your camp*. Not sure which camp is right for you? Take our camp readiness quiz.
Once you have chosen your camp, you will be asked to pay a nonrefundable deposit to reserve your campers’ spot at camp. If you need financial assistance, please fill out our application.
You will be offered an optional protection plan in case of emergency cancellation or emergency medical care.

Log in to our CampDoc site using the email you registered with last year.
Select the participant you already created or click “New Participant” on the left side of your screen. Your participant is who will be joining us for camp this summer.
Select “Register for a new session” on the right side of your screen.
Select the grade level of your participant.
Choose from the available camps for that grade level*. Not sure which camp is right for you? Take our camp readiness quiz.
Pay your deposit. All camps require a nonrefundable deposit to reserve your spot at your preferred camp. If you need financial assistance, please fill out our application.

Adults at Camp!

Register for Your Session

Log in to CampDoc.
You will need to create a new participant for the adult attending the session.
Register for a new session.
Select Troop and Family Camp.
Pay your deposit. All camps require a nonrefundable deposit to reserve your spot at your preferred camp. If you need financial assistance, please fill out our application.
You will need to complete a Health Profile for the adult.
***Additionally, all adults will need to pass a criminal background check to attend. There is a form to complete on CampDoc to initiate that process.

*NOTE: If a program is full, you will be added to the waitlist. You will receive an email when you are added to the waitlist and an email when you have been promoted from the waitlist.

ACA Accreditation toggle arrow

The American Camp Association (ACA) sets high standards for the health and safety of campers, staff, and the delivery of quality programs. ACA accreditation means that the GSNI-M council-led camps you are considering undergo a thorough review of its operations-from staff qualifications and training to emergency and risk management.

Help your camper stay connected by leaving mail during check-in to be delivered to your camper throughout their stay or make use of one of our new features, CampGrams through CampDocs. Additional information about camp mail and CampGrams will be sent to all caregivers registered for Camp Logan overnight camps.

Camp Staff toggle arrow

All camp staff are at least 18 years old, have undergone a criminal background check, and completed CPR training. All staff attended pre-camp training where they learn or review camping skills, risk management, Girl Scout programming, human development, and communication skills. Many staff members return each year and travel from all over the world to join us at camp.

Health and Wellness Philosophy toggle arrow

The well-being of your camper is our top priority. All our summer camp staff have had mental wellbeing, CPR & AED, and first aid training. A Health and Wellness Manager is onsite any time campers are present, and they dispense medications, check-in with campers regularly, and address any concerns. For our team to provide the best care, we recommend being thorough when completing our health forms. We best support your camper when we have the knowledge to do so.

GSNI-M camps will continue our tradition of having a No Cell Phones policy for campers. We strongly believe that it is important for campers to disconnect and experience camp without any additional distractions. This is a time for your camper to experience a world beyond home, allowing them to develop autonomy, independence, and a stronger sense of self. If your camper is found with a cell phone, it will be confiscated and returned to you at check-out.

We take the safety and well-being of our campers very seriously. We understand the great amount of trust you place in us by sending your camper to camp. We aim to do everything we can to earn and keep your trust. Our staff engage in over 70 hours of training, learning how to help your camper adjust to camp life, overcome the normal fears and uncertainties campers experience, and engaging in discussions that help your camp build confidence in themselves. Sending a cell phone to camp prevents us from getting to the problems that may arise and addressing them quickly.

Often cell phones are sent to help combat homesickness. Homesickness is normal. Our experience is that using a cell phone to call home does not cure homesickness; it often makes it worse, and the camper ends up going home. Campers who talk with camp staff can usually overcome their homesickness and have an enjoyable camp experience. If your camper's homesickness is to become extreme, the director will call you and work with you to make a plan that best meets your camper's needs.

We find that allowing your camper to disconnect from the digital world while at camp has a positive benefit to their development:

Enables them to make new friends and bond with their fellow campers

Ensures your camper is not exposed to age-inappropriate material

Enables your camper to build trust in other caring adults

Gain a greater appreciation for the outdoors

Helps them develop problem-solving skills and responsibility

We agree to tell you if your camper experiences a challenge in their adjustment to camp. You can help by talking with your camper and letting them know there is always someone they can reach out to on the camp staff.

Allowing your camper to sneak a cell phone to camp tells her it’s okay to break rules you disagree with — this goes against Girl Scout values.

If your camper is found with a cell phone, it will be confiscated and may result in dismissal from camp.

Camp Mail

Inclement Weather toggle arrow

At Camp Ella J. Logan, your child's safety is our top priority. This information outlines our comprehensive severe weather plan to ensure your child's well-being during their time at camp.

Understanding Severe Weather Threats:

Summer weather can be unpredictable, with potential for heat waves, poor air quality, and even tornadoes. We actively monitor weather reports and take all necessary precautions to keep campers safe.

Hot Weather:

Hydration Breaks: We prioritize keeping campers cool and hydrated with regular water breaks and access to water throughout the day.
Adjusted Schedules: During high heat, we may adjust our schedule to include more shade-based activities or water play.

Poor Air Quality:

Monitoring Air Quality: We closely monitor air quality reports and take necessary precautions to protect campers' health.
Reduced Outdoor Activity: If air quality becomes a concern, we may adjust activity schedules to prioritize indoor or low-impact activities.

Tornado Safety:

Tornado drills: Camper’s practice seeking shelter regularly through our "W.A.T.C.H.= When a Tornado Could Happen" drills.
Designated shelters: Multiple shelters are located throughout camp for camper safety during a tornado and will be reviewed upon arrival.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up During Severe Weather:

If severe weather disrupts drop-off or pick-up times, camp staff will provide clear instructions to all groups and vehicles. We may temporarily adjust drop-off or pick-up locations to prioritize everyone's safety.

Staying Informed and Prepared:

Camp communication: We will notify parents via email with updates in case of severe weather.
Be prepared: Ensure your contact information is up to date. Your child should bring extra socks, shoes, rain gear, and a flashlight.

Your Peace of Mind:

We understand that leaving your child in our care is a big decision. Our comprehensive severe weather plan and highly trained staff are in place to keep every camper safe. For more details, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Financial Assistance toggle arrow

We believe in the benefits of a camp experience are beneficial to all Girl Scouts and the financial burden of accessing those benefits should not keep someone from experiencing joy and creating memories. If you need additional assistance to help pay for camp, please consider applying for financial assistance. Funds are available for families to cover the cost of camp. Eligibility will be based on need, and assistance will be applied for one camp per girl.

Applicant must be a currently registered member of Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana.

Access Application

Deposit & Forms toggle arrow

A non-refundable deposit per session is required at the time of registration for overnight and day camp to hold your spot at your chosen camp. The deposit is applied to the cost of the session. If you transfer camps after the last date to register (this date varies by camp) you will be required to pay an additional non-refundable deposit for the newly chosen camp session.

Up to and including $125.00 camp fee the deposit is $20.00.
$126.00 and above the deposit is $40.00.

You will receive an automated balance-due reminder. Camp balances are due June 1 or, if you register after June 1, at the time of registration.

Refund Policy toggle arrow

A full refund will be given if:

the application for financial assistance is denied, or insufficient funds are granted.
the program or session is cancelled.

A partial refund will be given if:

• the camper becomes ill or injured, and the council is notified two weeks before the session check-in with a written statement from a physician. The program fee minus the nonrefundable deposit will be refunded.

• the family unexpectedly moves out of the area.

• there is a family emergency [e.g., a family death or medical emergency (to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis).

No refund will be given and the entire amount will be retained if:

• a camper does not show up.

• does not pass the health and wellness screening.

• leaves early due to illness, homesickness, and parental request.

• demonstration of disregard toward camp policies.

If you transfer camps after the last date to register (this date varies by camp), you will be required to pay an additional non-refundable deposit for the newly chosen camp session.

Camp Saver Cookie Rewards toggle arrow

Camp Voucher Rewards Can Help Pay for Camp

As part of the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie sale, Girl Scouts may earn a Camp Voucher reward that can be used to help pay for camp.

Remember to submit your camp registration form and deposit. If no deposit is made, a camper will not be registered for a session until scholarships are finalized, which is after the Cookie Program is completed and Camp Voucher rewards are administered.

Camp Voucher rewards will be applied to a single 2026 summer camp registration. Camp Voucher rewards are not redeemable for Council Cash or cash.

Some camps fill quickly, so you may lose a spot if you don't make a deposit.
