Join expert instructors from the Community Arts Academy at Purdue Fort Wayne for a hands-on woodworking workshop where Cadette Girl Scouts will learn the importance of bats in our ecosystem and build their very own bat boxes! Cadettes will have the opportunity to use a variety of tools to assemble wooden bat houses, which provide safe shelter for these incredible nighttime pollinators. Completed bat boxes will then be dispersed to be installed at GSNI-M camp properties and other local outdoor spaces.

Badges Earned: Cadette Woodworker badge
