To remove financial barriers that may interfere, we offer limited funds to help members who would be unable to join in Girl Scout activities without financial support. Troops are encouraged to facilitate girl-led financial planning for their activities, which can include Fall Product and Cookie Program sales, and money-earning activities.
Financial assistance for Girl Scout membership can help cover a significant portion of the membership fee for one year (October 1-September 30). This includes extended-year membership, which begins April 1.
Girls and adults can apply for financial assistance at any time during the membership year. To request aid, start the registration process by clicking "Get Started" below. When you reach the payment page, select the financial assistance option.
After submitting your request, a team member will contact you to confirm your financial aid eligibility and discuss next steps. At that time, financial assistance will either be approved or declined, and any remaining payment will be due during the call.
Financial assistance for camp is available based on need and can be applied to one camp session per girl per year.
Applications are accepted annually from February 1 through the end of June. To apply for financial assistance, girls must first be registered for camp by submitting a deposit of $20 or $40, depending on the session.
If a deposit is not made, the camper will not be officially registered for a session until scholarships are finalized—after the Cookie Program ends and Camp Saver/Council Cash rewards are calculated. Some camps fill quickly, so securing a spot with a deposit is recommended.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and special bequests, additional financial aid may be available based on ZIP code or other demographic factors. Contact our team to see if you qualify for extra support—we're here to help make Girl Scouts accessible to all!
