"In my family, we joke that we 'bleed green.' My grandmother was my mother's leader, and my mother was my leader. The memories we made and experiences we shared when I was a Girl Scout are too numerous to mention. Fast forward two decades, and I had the privilege of becoming the leader of not one but TWO troops when my daughters were old enough to become Daisies. We had many years full of camping, crafting, doing service projects, and more. Even today when I run into those girls (now young adults), we reminisce about the fun we had and lessons we learned. After my girls left Girl Scouting, I continued to look for ways to be involved. I’m currently in my 4th year as a board member for GSNI-M and am honored to serve an organization that was so foundational in my life."
