Local Girl Scout Troop 447 celebrated the birthday of Girls Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low on October 31 by welcoming the first baby girl born at both Dupont Hospital and Parkview Regional Medical Center with special gift baskets. The baskets included books, essential baby care products, a handmade blanket, and a "Future Girl Scout" fun patch.
Troop Leader LaTanya Ackerson stated, "We are delighted to commemorate the birthday of our visionary founder, Juliette Gordon Low, by extending our support and care to the newest additions to our community."
