Brownies, Juniors, and
Cadettes are invited to join the Michigan Council of Women in
Technology (MCWT) at Lake Michigan College and earn their
Cybersecurity badge series!
Brownie participants will
gain a solid grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals, unravel the concept
of privacy in the digital realm, and acquire vital skills to ensure
their safety while using computers.
Junior participants
will learn the art of protecting sensitive information, while also
developing investigative abilities that enable them to identify
potential issues and vulnerabilities in the cyber domain.
Cadette participants will go beyond the basics and learn strategies to
maintain online information security, gain insight into the
fascinating world of cybercrime investigation and explore how experts
track down hackers and combat digital threats.
All Girl
Scouts will learn about important female computer scientists and how
to use computers to solve problems that help people progress in
life.

This is not a
drop-off event. Parents and/or leaders are expected to provide
supervision. ONE (1) adult is required to chaperone their youth(s) at
this event. All troops and groups must follow the correct
youth-to-adult ratio.
