Session
Every Girl Scout spends time outdoors, so let's
learn about how we can better take care of these beautiful spaces we
love! Join us for the It's Your Planet-Love It! Journey. Girl Scouts
will learn about the environment and how they can take action to
respect and protect their planet.
Girls will explore a
variety of environmental topics, such as energy or noise pollution.
Each Journey is packed with current environmental information and
offers ways to improve life for everyone on the planet. Come learn
about environmental stewardship and how we can be better citizens of
the world.
LiA is retiring. If you want to earn this
award before it disappears, join us!
Special
Instructions/Appropriate Attire:
* Wear layers of clothing, Girl
Scouts and adults will be outside for a portion of this program.
* Close-toed shoes
* Reusable water bottle
* "Nut
free" Packed lunch
Journeys earned: Brownie WOW
Wonders of Water Journey, Junior Get Moving Journey, Cadettes Breathe
Journey, or Cadette LiA It's Your Planet Award.
This is
not a drop-off event. Parents and/or leaders are expected to provide
supervision. ONE (1) adult is required to chaperone their youth(s) at
this event. All troops and groups must follow the correct
youth-to-adult ratio. We are not equipped to accommodate siblings at
council and collaborator events. Thank you for your
understanding.
Registration Deadline: April 5, 2026
Registration Minimum: This event will be cancelled if we do not
meet the minimum registration of 50. You will be contacted and refunds
will be issued if this occurs.
Cancellation Statement:
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by the registration
deadline to receive a refund. Please email frontdesk@gsnim.org to cancel your registration.
Refunds are NOT given for cancellations received after the
registration deadline or for failing to attend the event.
Registrations may be transferred to another event if cancellation is
made PRIOR to the registration deadline. Refunds will be given if
GSNI-M must cancel a program.
