Join us at Camp Soni Springs for Winterpalooza - an exciting afternoon
of outdoor adventure and fun!This hands-on program invites Daisy,
Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts to discover the wonders of nature
through a variety of engaging activities. Participants will learn
essential outdoor skills such as building shelters in the woods,
packing for a day hike, and mastering basic fire-building techniques.
Girls will even get the chance to cook over an open fire!
Filled with opportunities for teamwork, exploration, and laughter,
Winterpalooza is sure to create lasting memories for all who attend.
Program Aides are also invited to join in and support the younger Girl
Scouts throughout the event.Girls in 6th grade and up, who have gone
through training to be a Program Aide/Counselor-in-Training are
invited to be program aides for this event.
During the
Winterpalooza program, adults will earn their Outdoor Basics Level 1
training. They will join the girls in hands-on fire building and learn
essential skills for safely managing fires around children.
Special Instructions/Appropriate Attire:
- Close-toed shoes
- Hair in braid or pony
- Filled Water Bottle
This is not a drop-off event. Parents and/or leaders are
expected to provide supervision. ONE (1) adult is required to
chaperone their youth(s) at this event. All troops and groups must
follow the correct youth-to-adult ratio.
Registration
Deadline: February 22, 2026
Registration Minimum: This
event will be cancelled if we do not meet the minimum registration of
20. You will be contacted and refunds will be issued if this
occurs.
Cancellation Statement: Cancellations must be
submitted in writing by the registration deadline to receive a refund.
Please email frontdesk@gsnim.org to cancel your registration.
Refunds are NOT given for cancellations received after the
registration deadline or for failing to attend the event.
Registrations may be transferred to another event if cancellation is
made PRIOR to the registration deadline. Refunds will be given if
GSNI-M must cancel a program.
