Are you ready to turn a great idea or one of your interests into a mini business? Join us for Biz Builder, a hands-on experience where you'll learn how to create, build, and share your very own business idea!
During this exciting overnight experience, Girl Scouts will choose a business track, learn new skills, and work through the steps of creating a business from the ground up. You might design handmade products to sell, create fun social media content, or develop a service you could offer in your neighborhood. You'll create a prototype, develop a simple business plan, and have the opportunity to test out your idea before sharing it with others.
Girl Scouts will also have the opportunity to meet the owners and founders of Cookie Cottage! They'll share their story, talk about what inspired them to start their business, and give Girl Scouts a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to be an entrepreneur. This is a great opportunity to meet entrepreneurs in action and learn from their real-world experiences.
By the end of Biz Builder, you'll have a finished product or service idea, a simple business plan, and the confidence to share your business with others!
Choose Your Track:
🎨 Creative Maker
Design, create, brand, and price physical products to sell.
📱 Digital Content Creator
Learn the basics of branding, photography, and social media strategy to promote a business.
💡 Service-Based Pro
Build a business around a service such as tutoring, childcare, pet-sitting, or another skill you can share with others.

Registration Deadline: October 4, 2026
Registration Minimum: This event will be cancelled if we do not meet the minimum registration of 10 Girl Scouts. You will be contacted and refunds issued if this occurs.
Cancellation Statement: Cancellations must be submitted in writing by the registration deadline to receive a refund. Please emailfrontdesk@gsnim.orgto cancel your registration. Refunds are NOT given for cancellations received after the registration deadline or for failing to attend the event. Registrations may be transferred to another event if cancellation is made PRIOR to the registration deadline. Refunds will be given if GSNI-M must cancel a program.
