Join us at Love Creek Nature Park for a fun afternoon walk in the woods. Brownie Girl Scouts and their families are invited to join the naturalist for this engaging outdoor experience. Girl Scouts will earn their Brownie Hiker and Senses badges during this program. Girls will plan the hike, follow directional trail signs, and lead the group back to the nature center. Along the way, we will pause at a "sit spot" to observe our surroundings-looking carefully, listening to nature, noting different smells and textures, and possibly tasting something from nature.
Special Instructions/Appropriate Attire:
- Participants should dress comfortably in layers
- Long pants with socks that can be pulled over pant legs in case of high numbers of ticks this year
