Have you ever wondered how your
favorite books are made? Join us at Sunbound Books for a special Meet
the Illustrator experience with local author-illustrator Talitha
Shipman! Discover the journey an idea takes from imagination to a
published book as Talitha shares her creative process and leads a fun,
hands-on drawing program-perfect for girls who love books and art.
Participants will create their own illustrated book to take home and
have the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of one of Talitha's
books. Cadette Girl Scouts are encouraged to attend and assist younger
participants with their artwork. Families are also welcome to be part
of this inspiring and creative event!

This is not a
drop-off event.Parents and/or leaders are expected to provide
supervision.ONE (1) adultis required tochaperone their youth(s) at
this event. All troops and groups must follow the correct
youth-to-adult ratio.

Registration Minimum:This event will be cancelled if
we do not meet the minimum registration of 8 Girl Scouts. You will
becontacted and refunds issued if this occurs.
Cancellation Statement:Cancellations must besubmittedin writing by the
registration deadline to receive a refund. Please emailfrontdesk@gsnim.orgto cancel your registration.
Refunds are NOT given for cancellations received after the
registration deadline or forfailing to attendthe event. Registrations
may be transferred to another event if cancellation is made PRIOR to
the registration deadline. Refunds will be given if GSNI-M must
cancela program.
