Ready to have the best day ever? Saddle and Swim is calling your name! This event is for Girl Scouts interested in learning the foundations of horseback riding (safety, horse care, behavior, and riding basics), riding around the arena, complete obstacles, and then having a splashing good time in the lake! Pack your swimsuit and a yummy lunch, and let's make some unforgettable memories together! Don't miss your chance to saddle up and swim this summer! This is a DROP OFF event; please ensure the facilitator has your emergency contact information before leaving. Note: Daisies are only permitted for pony rides and hand-held horseback walks.
Special Instructions/Appropriate Attire:
Extend the fun! Troops or families have the choice to rent camping facilities and stay overnight at Camp Logan on the evening before the event. Visit our Camp Rentals page for details on available sites and rental fees. For horseback riding girls must have closed toe shoes, preferrable boots of some kind, and long pants. Girls who try to ride in shorts will be asked to select pants from the camper closet. Girls should be prepared with a hair tie, sunscreen and more. Other items needed for the day will be in the confirmation email.

Registration Deadline: July 6, 2026
Registration Minimum: This event will be cancelled if we do not
meet the minimum registration of 10. You will be contacted and refunds
issued if this occurs.
Cancellation Statement: Cancellations must be submitted in
writing by the registration deadline to receive a refund. Please
email frontdesk@gsnim.org to cancel your registration.
Refunds are NOT given for cancellations received after the
registration deadline or for failing to attend the event.
Registrations may be transferred to another event if cancellation is
made PRIOR to the registration deadline. Refunds will be given if
GSNI-M must cancel a program.
