Experience the incredible 2026 Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana STEM Expo on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and unlock the limitless possibilities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)! Discover exciting career paths as you dive into interactive tabletop activities exploring engineering, robotics, animal science, nature, 3D printing, and more! This hands-on adventure will show you how fun STEM can be and inspire your dreams for the future.
GSNI-M is happy to announce our keynote speaker for 2026! Get ready to meet a real NASA astronaut! Dr. Sandy Magnus has flown to space three times and spent more than four months living and working aboard the International Space Station as a flight engineer and science officer. Before becoming an astronaut, she was a stealth engineer, using science and technology to help design advanced aircraft. From engineering on Earth to conducting science in space, Dr. Magnus has spent her career exploring what's possible and she's coming to the GSNI-M STEM Expo to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, explorers, and innovators!
Open to ALL girls in grades K-12, this expo is a must-attend event for anyone curious about the wonders of STEM. Girl Scout membership is not required to participate, so register your friends and join us for a morning filled with discovery and fun! This is a family event; caregivers and siblings are welcome to participate.
Here's what awaits you at the STEM Expo:
* 9:00-11:45: Exhibitor Expo
o Meet and learn from over 30 inspiring STEM professionals eager to share their passions with you! As you explore their exciting work, you'll uncover your interests and talents.
* 11:00-11:30: Optional Breakout Sessions:
o Immerse yourself in a career-focused breakout session, where you'll have the opportunity to connect with incredible women who have made their mark in STEM fields. Learn from their experiences and get inspired to pursue your dreams fearlessly. Breakout sessions will be 30 minutes long and will take place during the exhibitor expo!
* 11:45am-12:00pm Prize Raffle:
o The expo ends at 12:00 PM with a STEM prize raffle drawing at 11:45 AM!

This is not a drop-off event. Parents and/or leaders are expected to provide supervision. ONE (1) adult is required to chaperone their youth(s) at this event. All troops and groups must follow the correct youth-to-adult ratio.
Registration Deadline: September 26, 2026
Cancellation Statement: Cancellations must be submitted in writing by the registration deadline to receive a refund. Please email frontdesk@gsnim.org to cancel your registration. Refunds are NOT given for cancellations received after the registration deadline or for failing to attend the event. Registrations may be transferred to another event if cancellation is made PRIOR to the registration deadline. Refunds will be given if GSNI-M must cancel a program.
